Choosing the right projector is extremely important for bright rooms. End up selecting the low lumen projector. It will not give you satisfactory results in daylight as well as artificially brightened rooms. So, stick with me, and I will help you choose the best projector 😊 The rule of thumb: The higher the lumens, the better the projector will be for bright rooms.

Also, you need to keep the impact of ambient light as low as possible. The ambient light can be produced by any of these things: sunlight, from your ceiling lightings, LED strips in the room, etc. I hope you got the gist of what I am trying to say.

I have answered the most asked questions and listed some of the best projectors for bright rooms to help you shop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Let me start by answering the most asked questions.

How many lumens do I need for a projector in a bright room?

There is not an unusual amount you need to look for. However, it is generally believed that the more lumens, the brighter the projection will be. It is correct, and you need at least 3000 lumens in the projector to make it work in ambient lighting.

Can you use a projector in a bright room?

Yes, you can use the projector in bright rooms. All you have to do is to choose the right one. Not every projector is created equal. Every projector has a different purpose. For instance, the best projector for a small room would not be ideal for a large room projector. The same goes for the bright room projectors. You need a projector with higher lumens for daylight viewing or bright rooms.

How many lumens do you need for daylight?

The same you need for any bright room. The minimum I recommend is 3000 lumens. You can search the web and know that some people recommend 2500 lumens, but I think 3000 and above lumens are the sweet spots for daylight viewing.

What are the best projectors for a bright room?

Things I Liked

Things I Disliked

  • Crystal clear lens

  • Works flawlessly in the lit room

  • Smart Eco Mode

  • Customer support Sucks

  • Very Basic Manual

My Two Cents

The quality of the lens is excellent offers a clear and crisp display. The rate does not drop in the room with the lighting. The smart eco mode of MW560 truly saves up to 70 percent of lamp life. I would highly recommend buying this as it does not dig holes in your pocket and offers enough features to satisfy bright room projection needs. However, if you want any help after-sale, forget about it. BenQ truly sucks in that, according to my experience. Maybe they will treat you better, I don’t know.

If you are a beginner who does not have significant know-how of projectors. In that case, you will have a hard time understanding its settings. So, if you are just starting out, I would not recommend buying this projector.
